Shalzi plays the lead in the independent feature film Synthetic Love Incorporated. Written and directed by David Pedersen and produced by Synthetic Love Films, the film was shot in Peotone, IL and is currently in post production. It is set for release by the end of 2017. Shalzi plays the lead in the DePaul University MFA directing thesis film, So It Goes. So It Goes is a mysterious short film with a faded aesthetic influenced by the novels of Kurt Vonnegut and Cormac McCarthy. The film is currently in post production.
